FLL to PortMiami taxi
Plenty of smart cruisers fly into Fort Lauderdale for a Miami sailing. FLL often has cheaper fares and a calmer arrivals hall than MIA. The catch is the last 28 miles. There is no direct train to Dodge Island, and shared shuttles wait until they fill up before leaving.
We make the connection boring, in the best way. Your driver meets you at FLL arrivals, loads the bags, and takes I-95 south to the I-395 port connector. Off-peak, you are at your PortMiami terminal in about 35 minutes. On a busy Saturday, plan for 50. We build that margin in when we suggest pickup times.
PortMiami hosts Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, MSC, Virgin Voyages, Celebrity, and Disney across terminals spread along Dodge Island. Each has its own drop-off ramp. We deliver you to the one on your booking, so the only walking you do is from the curb to the check-in desk.
What to expect
No shuttle waiting game
The car leaves when you are in it. No waiting for six strangers and their bags before the van rolls.
Ship-aware routing
Give us your ship name. Terminal assignments on Dodge Island vary by sailing, and we confirm the drop-off point the morning of your cruise.
Timing with margin
We recommend leaving FLL at least three hours before boarding cutoff, and we track your flight so the plan survives a delay.
Fixed long-distance fare
From $129 one way. No meter anxiety on the highway, no surge on cruise days.
